Teen Think Tank Project
The Teen Think Tank Project is a student-run policy institute that fosters tomorrow’s leaders by providing exceptional high school students with the opportunity to broaden their communication, research, decision-making, and analytic skills.
The 10-week live virtual program explores social issues, develops critical thinking skills, fosters effective research techniques, implements problem solving strategies, and develops policy framework for real life issues.

1) Social Protest & Sports
Dates: June 7, 2021 – August 25, 2021
Days/Time: Mondays & Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Tuition: $2,500
Application Deadline: May 1, 2021
Research focus: Developing a blueprint to activate athlete voices
- Explore the history of social protest in sports, examining the relative successes and struggles of athletes looking to advocate for change. Work as part of a research group that includes fellow students, political scientists, journalists, sports professionals, advocates and thought leaders to develop a policy framework that will serve as a blueprint for future socially conscious athletes.

Dates: June 8 – August 26, 2021
Days/Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7:00pm to 8:30pm
Tuition: $2,500
Application Deadline: May 1, 2021
Research focus: Achieving economic security and fighting poverty
- Investigate the struggles and hardships that low-income American families face. Understand how education inequalities, underemployment, inconsistent health benefits, and institutional prejudices prevent individuals from escaping poverty’s grip.
